The focus of Green Tree Furniture is the wood, and nature's natural forms. Our chairs organically cradle the body, our Tables highlight the spectacular grain of wood. All design focus on combining human and natural elements.

All of our materials are crafted and designed to make the healthiest home and environment for your family. We strive to avoid harmful materials glues or finishes, no matter how fashionable it may be!

A crack representing the heart of the tree is embraced and held tight with inlaid butterfly dovetails. Dovetails lock the fold tight. Our hand made joinery follows teachings practiced for millennia, ensuring that our furniture will last that long.

Craftsmanship

Preserving the sprit of a tree for generations is a sign of respect. Our furniture is built to last longer then the 100 years it takes a tree to grow from seedling to maturity.

Heirloom Quality

All Green Tree furniture is Carbon Neutral; its creation had no negative impact on climate change. The Green Tree Studio is entirely solar heated, and 100% of the electricity used to power tools and lights in the studio is purchased wind power. The remaining carbon footprint is offset with trees planted to sequester carbon.

Carbon Neutral

For each tree preserved in a piece of Green Tree Furniture, 10 trees are planted in wildlife refuges through The Conservation Fund’s Go Zero Program.

Wood

Green Tree uses natural finishes. Most of our pieces are hand polished with natural shellac & wax. Each batch is freshly mixed to give the finish the best color, depth, and durability.
